I have been a bit remiss about doing my blog lately. It has been a off & on blah week. Here are a few photos of my kids spending time together. :)

Ian's jaunt in Iowa
This is Ian a few miles from his Grandpa Halyn's house.
His Kansas City Jacked was given to him from Dick, his (step) Grandpa that also lives in Iowa.
Look, Bufallo!

Don't mistake, he is a New York Giant's fan first!

My Friday Adventure
Friday afternoon, I had no idea I would have a close encounter with this window.
It is about 1 1/2 feet wide & tall.
As I went out the door to pick up Faith from school, I walked to the car & realized that I had left my keys on the table. I turned around to go back in & realized I had a problem, I locked the door behind me.
So, I tried calling the landlord twice & got no answer. Most of the windows were not only locked, but covered in plastic as part of my winterization. Faith's window had wood over it, but I had no screwdriver.
Then I thought, maybe, the bathroom window wasn't locked. So, I pried the screen out. (It has a metal frame around it, so you aren't supposed to get it off in that direction.)
Now, the question was how was I going to get in the window? It was 4 feet off the ground & I am not the most agile person at the moment! I used a ladder to step up & in I went through this window head first!
I was just hoping that as I went in on my hands that my arms were strong enough so I wouldn't land on my head! Luckily, they were. So, I got in, shut the window, grabbed my keys & went to pick up Faith & drive to Dodge for Connor!
The End.

Pumpkin Fairies & Pirates!
This past weekend we picked Connor up on Saturday. He wanted to spend the birthday money his Grandpa Harlyn sent him on a costume. I knew I couldn't just get him one. So, after some time his sister finally picked one & had to add pink wings.
Connor had some problems finding a size big enough & the grown up costumes were rather boring. In the end he was happy with the pirate & 2 extra swords!
He wore the outfit back on Sunday. :)
Faith wanted a family photo with the pumpkins. Jim bought the two smaller ones for the boys years ago. They are made from cast iron & are the best!
This is my little girl taking after her mummy & great grandfather, working on puzzles. My grandfather had bunches & I was lucky enough to get several. I love them & it looks like she does too! :)

Shopping?!
The other day I offered Faith to go get a Frosty from Wendy's. As we were driving she said, "Oor we could go shopping somewhere."
"For what?"
"I'll show you when we get there," she says.
"Where shall we go?"
"How about Wal-Mart?"
So, when we get there I ask is she would like to get some pajamas since it has been really cold here at night. She got a pair, two Halloween tops, 2 pants, an outfit, & a matching hat & gloves!
Now, I figure I am in trouble, but you have to understand just how rare this is for her. She never offers to go shopping, ever. So, here are a few photo's of her clothes, so far.
She has also been decorating our house with Halloween decor. My floor was covered yesterday! She also decorated the cat with fall leaves.

Hard to see, but there are little sitters on the bookshelf.

My child being groomed
I have cats for several reasons, one of which, is that they are entertaining. I heard Faith giggling & looked down to find that Snowflake was grooming her! Then she was just being plain wierd trying to get her head & then back to the grooming!
